Every SDS in the building, one scan away.
Crypt is your chemical library of record: upload safety data sheets once with GHS pictograms and NFPA ratings, print QR labels for the containers, and every employee, on a free account, can scan, search, and read them from any browser, even with no signal.
SDS & CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT PLATFORM
Crypt is an SDS and chemical management platform for safety teams that are done chasing paper binders. Admins maintain the library (PDFs, hazard data, locations, review dates) and everyone else gets free, read-only access to search it, scan QR container labels, and pull up the sheet that matters in the moment it matters. It runs in the browser as an installable app with the full library cached offline, with a native companion app planned.

A library of record
Upload SDS PDFs with manufacturer, building, department, and location. Re-uploading creates version 2 with version 1 preserved: sheets are archived, never deleted.
Free for every employee
Unlimited read-only member accounts on every tier. The whole workforce can search the library and read any SDS; you only pay for the admins who maintain it.
Scan the container, get the sheet
Every chemical gets a QR code. Stick it on the bottle, the cabinet, or the door. One scan takes anyone in your org straight to the right SDS.
Hazard data at a glance
GHS pictograms and an NFPA 704 diamond on every chemical, entered once by your team and rendered wherever the chemical appears.
Print-ready labels
Download QR codes, official GHS pictograms, filled NFPA diamonds, and composed label sheets at standard print sizes, ready for the label maker or the laser printer.
Works where the signal doesn't
The full library, metadata and PDFs alike, caches for offline use. In the basement, the plant, or a dead zone, search still works and every sheet still opens.
Review dates that follow up
Set a review date and a point of contact per SDS. Crypt reminds them by email and in-app at a month out, a week out, and day-of.
Plays well with its siblings
A read-only API lets Artifact build inspections from your chemical inventory and Scribe report on it: one chemical record feeding your whole safety stack.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
When will Crypt be available?
Crypt is in active development. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know the moment early access opens.
Do employee accounts really cost nothing?
Yes. Every employee gets a free read-only member account (search, scan QR labels, read SDSs, print labels) on every plan. Paid seats are only for admins who upload and maintain the library.
What does "offline" mean for an SDS library?
Crypt caches your whole library, the searchable index and the PDFs themselves, on the device. With zero connection you can still search, open a chemical, read its SDS, and resolve a scanned QR code.
Is there a mobile app?
Crypt runs in any browser and installs to the home screen as an app, offline included, from day one. A native companion app is planned after launch.
How does Crypt fit with Artifact and Scribe?
Artifact runs your field inspections, Scribe runs your EHS recordkeeping, and Crypt keeps your chemical inventory and SDSs. They're built by the same team, share the same design, and connect through Crypt's read-only API.
Inspecting today? Meet Artifact.
While Crypt is in development, Artifact is live: turn the checklists you already use into digital inspections, capture photo evidence offline, and deliver client-ready reports, free for 14 days.
